Favourite food: Seafood

Role model in life and why: My Mum. Despite whatever happens in life, she always remains so calm and selfless. She is also one of the most creative people I’ve ever met but remains so modest.

Has bullying ever effected me: Yes, I was bullied at high school. I found myself trying to do things to make the bullies like me. They picked on me for my appearance and also mocked me for doing my hobbies. Thankfully I stuck with my interests despite feeling so upset and affected by it and now I can proudly say those hobbies are my career. If I could go back in time, I wish I had the confidence to not let it hurt me the way it did.

What you wanted to be when you were younger: When I was younger I wanted to be a DJ and a fashion designer!

Favourite food: Doughnuts and Bacon (not together!)

Role model in life and why: My nan, she's incredible, she's built a life for herself and has always been there for me. Bullying:  I grew up as a traveller kid so on the occasions I did get to get to go to school I was bullied for being different, smelling of woodsmoke, wearing hand me downs, having a family who were "hippies".  I remember feeling totally isolated and like I would never fit in or be good enough to be friends with the kids.  It's made me stronger now and although it wasn't an ideal upbringing, I'm grateful for the opportunity of growing up differently and experiencing hardship.  Its made me more more determined and appreciative of the smaller things and I want to help everyone feel welcome and included.  That has been something that has been at the centre of my classes - I don't want to host classes that are for the fitness elite or that make you feel uncomfortable.  I've been blessed with the most amazing group of men and women from all backgrounds, of all ages and abilities who come together and feel a part of something, our very own family.

Celeb crush: I have to say I look at women's bodies more than men!  Alice Living, is incredible, I love how strong and honest she is and am so impressed with what she's achieved.  In terms of male celeb crush..... I'd have to say my partner Conor (aka Emperor) he is my "Weird Science" man -excuse the 1980s film reference, but he is wonderful and I couldn't ask for anything more.

Best piece of advice you were ever given: During a hard time health wise, I was very lucky to have a wonderful GP, she was warm, supportive and encouraging and helped me back to full health.  She said to me "you can't pour from an empty cup" - it's really stayed with me, I love helping people and would do anything for those I love, but I was burning myself out.  It really made me stop and take stock, I try and make time for me time, just getting a coffee, drawing, reading and of course my favourite.....working out!
